How to get to the conference / HotelsThe EMSC 2018 will take place on the campus of Saarland University in Building B4.1, 66123 Saarbrücken (for an interactive map, click here). Saarbrücken is easily accessible by car, train or plane. Train services to SaarbrückenHigh-speed ICE/TGV services are available from Frankfurt/Mannheim and Paris to Saarbrücken central station. Regional services run from Mainz, Trier and Strasbourg. Bus services to Saarbrücken campusTo get from Saarbrücken central station to the university campus, take either bus number 102 (to 'Dudweiler-Dudoplatz') or bus numbers 112 or 124 (to 'Universität'). These services run every 30 minutes. Please note that your registration fee includes free public transportation (tram and Saarbahn) between city center and university from Monday, 12th of March to Thursday, 15th of March. Please use your conference badge as ticket. Travelling by planeFlights from Luxembourg, Berlin or Hamburg to Saarbrücken take between 30 min, 1 hour 10 minutes and 1 hour 20 minutes. Saarbrücken Airport is situated about 12 km from the Saarbrücken campus. The bus from the airport to the university takes between 45 minutes and one hour and costs €2.50. A taxi will take you to the university in 15 minutes and costs around €20. Travelling by car/parking Please use the parking garage at the main entrance to the university (Parkhaus Uni Mitte, <5 min walking distance from conference site). Parking on the campus is very expensive and offers no advantages. Use Campus, 66123 Saarbrücken as address for the car navigation system.
